If you’re involved in a road traffic accident, your car seat may need to be replaced. If the car seat was subject to sufficient force, unseen internal damage may have occurred. This could stop your car seat from protecting your child correctly in the future.

Replacement car seats are usually covered under your vehicle’s insurance policy, and this should always be your first option after an accident.

If your Silver Cross car seat is covered by insurance, we will provide a letter for your insurance company to confirm it is no longer safe and needs to be replaced.
